Okay, what the hell is with the “clown with the tear-away face” in The Nightmare Before Christmas? Like, I get it, we all get scared of things under the bed and the shadow of the moon and whatever. We’ve all heard of those and that’s why they’re included. But like, Jesus Christ, did anyone ever hear about this horrifying monster before the movie? Is this something anyone actually relates to? If so, I hope never to meet that human being. Can you imagine your parents telling you about this instead of the generic bogeyman? Awful.
